Complete progression of installing Stage I ECS Disc Brake Upgrade Kit (Thanks to my brother Kurt and Derek and Erica for assistance)
The ECS Stage 1 Brake Upgrade Kit!
1. Front hub disassembled, stock parts removed
2. Rear drums off, note blown wheel cylinder
3. All rear brake assembly off, only line remains
4. Backseat out to adjust E-brake
5. New Mintex pads and Brembo slotted/drilled/coated rotors up front
6. New pads, rotors, calipers in the rear
7. New pads, rotors, calipers in the rear
8. And finally adding new DOT4 brake fluid and bleeding the lines Here are pics of my camshaft upgrade to the Neuspeed .438 lift / 268 mid-range and high end cam. Bada bing!
1. New cam from Neuspeed. Short shifter there too!!
2. Valve cover is off, old cam still in great shape
3. New Neuspeed cam is in- note engine assembly lube on the lobes.

1. The little tranny is removed from my car.
2. Aaahhh Will-san! You are installing the Quaife Limited Slip Differential!!
Side note- You need a press to install a new diff in a VW. I had a friend of my brother do it (tranny expert) and it was a pretty penny
for a rebuild kit, linkage, and labor. I hope if you think about doing this, you have some cash around! Maybe theres an easier way, if so, I dont know! Please tell me
